Mobile-friendly story cards
IN BETA ๐งช
We now have a "card" form factor available for testing as an alternative to story bubbles to drive high engagement with your Kahani content.
Why it matters?๐ก
Your users are conditioned to design patterns on apps like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This added form factor provides another familiar design pattern to drive engagement and interactivity on your site. Use it to showcase reviews, products, promotions and more.
Dynamic stories are coming!
We've been building a strong foundation under the hood that will enable automated merchandising, easier content sourcing from social, and a deeper connection to your Shopify data.

Story landing pages in under one minute!

Our new story landing page builder is in beta and available for use in your account. We'd love feedback and are looking for testers. In just a few clicks, you can build linkable stories to drive ad traffic directly into immersive Kahani experiences.
Why it matters?๐ก
Eliminate the disconnect between the immersive social experiences you create on Instagram and TikTok and the static pages where you land traffic today. Story LP's allow all the performance marketers out there to launch immersive landing page experiences quickly without a developer.

Kahani events now flow into Google analytics 4 (GA4)! Clicks into stories, chapter taps, chapter exits, cta clicks, and more now automatically make their way into your GA4 property with this integration.
Why it matters?๐ก
Google is sunsetting Universal Analytics (UA) in July, 2023, and replacing it with Google Analytics 4(GA4), which is Google's next-generation measurement solution. UA will continue to collect data until it's sunset in July 2023. That's coming up fast! This update ensures that all our customers will continue to recieve Kahani events into their GA4 accounts after UA is sunset. This update is in beta so if you'd like us to switch over where to send Kahani events, reach out to support@kahaniapp.com to request access.
What's Improved?โจ
Flexible cropping to save design hours
We improved our cropping tool to allow you to select exactly what part of the image you want to show for both story thumbnails and chapters.
Why it matters?๐ก
This is a time saver! Building mobile-native site experiences means you need tighter control around cropping assets to show exactly what you want to show in the vertical format. This improvement makes it a breeze to do this across all your Kahani content types in both the story and chapter editor to save design time cropping outside of Kahani.
Easily see what story blocks are live
We released design improvements in your Kahani portal to make it easier to see what story blocks are published and not published giving you peace of mind and context when logging into the app.
Why it matters?๐ก
This improvement makes it easy to see what story blocks are currently published to your site, giving you peace of mind knowing what's live and what's not. Focus on building cohesive rich experiences site wide without the worry of what's showing and whats not.
